The effectiveness parameters analysis for piers scour calculation

چکیده

Abstract A computational fluid dynamics numerical model addressed the problem of local scouring and deposition calculation for non-cohesive sediment clear water conditions near single double cylindrical piers. The results piers correlate very well with physical model's while are higher than case pier, especially when large-eddy turbulence model, van Rijn bed-load transport equation, fine mesh size considered. Additionally, final predictions compared to experimental data after parameters effectiveness explores range based on projected user inputs like cell size, model.
